Yes! Either of These!

I’ve seen photographers do cool stuff with drones. I’ve been confused about which one to buy...until now. Yes please! Either one of these will do just fine!  United States Air Force Museum. Dayton, Ohio.

What is this?

Honestly, I have no clue. What I do know is that it’s jet engine and rocket engine “stuff.” . Up close and personal. You know I like details of cool “machinery” related stuff. National Museum of the United States Air Force. By the way, IT’S FREAKING FREE. If you’re anywhere near Dayton, Ohio you should plan a visit.

National Museum United States Air Force

The National Museum of the United Stated Air Force is spectacular! If you’re an aviation buff or a military aviation buff you’re going to want to spend a lot of time here. We spent four hours here last Thursday and still didn’t see it all. I suppose you’ll accuse me of the camera slowing us down...you would be correct. Brace yourselves for a few posts of military aviation porn.

A Field of Honor

A few more images from the Flight 93 Memorial. “A common field one day. A field of honor forever.” On Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001, the U.S. came under attack when four commercial airliners were hijacked and used to strike targets on the ground. Nearly 3,000 people tragically lost their lives. Because of the actions of the 40 passengers and crew aboard one of the planes, Flight 93, the attack on the U.S. Capitol was thwarted.

Many of you know the role I played on United’s emergency response team in the days and weeks following 9/11. This was a difficult day but I will likely return. Never forget!

The Wall of Names

The beautiful white marble Wall of Names oriented along the last few seconds of flight path of flight 93, the point of impact marked by the giant boulder beyond the wooden gate. Never forget!

The Final Moments

This walkway takes you along the final few seconds of the flight path of United Flight 93. You reach the observation deck and look down on the impact point and the beautiful Wall of Names memorial. Many of you know the role I played on United’s emergency response team in the days and weeks following 9/11. It was difficult to be here but I will likely return. Never forget!

More from NATMUS

More fun NATMUS stuff. Cool old gas pumps. I’ve used all of these over the years. You? Yes, I’m getting freaking old! I’m still not done with NATMUS.

More Hummers

Some of you stick your tongues out at me?!?!? You beautiful, entertaining, shameless creatures! I conscientiously clean, sanitize and refill your fake flowers with deliciousness. You will be loved, forgiven and cared for in the usual manner. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.

These tiny winged creatures are so much fun to watch and quite difficult to photograph. Speed-lights work overtime to catch them frozen in flight. No masterpieces but still fun to try.
