The Wind Star, a four masted schooner, was our ride around the Aegean Sea. Here she is docked while we were roaming the streets in Nafplio, Greece. Nice ride!

Koulouri. What’s for breakfast on many street corners in Athens. Like a soft pretzel but NOT. Like a regular pretzel but NOT. Like a round breadstick but NOT. Like a KOULOURI, exactly! Delicious!
The Athens Dimotiki Agora (public market) had interesting delicacies on our Athens food walking tour today. Exceptional! A great part of travel is experiencing the food and we certainly did that in a big and delicious way! Thankfully, we did not have an “opportunity” to try out the bull parts.
The Parthenon
View eating breakfast in the hotel rooftop restaurant was not awful! Atop the acropolis in Athens sits the spectacular Parthenon. We went up to the Grande Bretagne Rooftop Garden Restaurant for an early breakfast…because that’s what jet lag does…and we were greeted with this spectacular view.

Thanks to my most amazing husband, this early birthday present arrived 1 day after its release to the public! I’ve been a “bit” giddy playing around with it. I love my X-T2, this new iteration is even more spectacular. Also just in time for a non-stop workout on our upcoming trip to Greece.
Great Horned Owl
A magnificent owl in our back yard. The eyes are stunning! We’ve heard it making all kinds of racket at night. Here it sits in broad daylight. It’s much larger than I expected it to be. It “puffed” itself up as I approached a little closer, making it even more intimidating.
